Overview

Plowboy Landscapes was selected as the landscape contractor for Cypress Place, a ground-up development delivering 90 affordable multifamily housing units. Our team completed the full landscape installation, including a high-efficiency irrigation system and drought-tolerant, low-maintenance planting designed by Jordan, Gilbert, and Bain Landscape Architects.

What We Did

Commercial Irrigation Installation

We installed a new 29-valve irrigation system featuring a backflow preventer, master valve, flow sensor, and a weather-based smart irrigation controller mounted in a top-entry pedestal enclosure. The system was configured with bubbler nozzles for trees and inline emitter driplines to maximize water efficiency across the site.

Water-Efficient Planting

Plowboy completed a full installation of new plants and trees per the Landscape Architect’s plan, utilizing water-wise, low-maintenance plant material selected for long-term performance and reduced irrigation demand.

Heavy Equipment

To support production efficiency and schedule, our crew utilized heavy machinery, including DitchWitch and Kubota mini-skid steers, as well as Kubota excavators, to complete trenching, installation, and material handling throughout the project.
