Overview
Plowboy Landscapes was selected as the landscape contractor for Rose Town Apartments, a ground-up development delivering 48 affordable multifamily housing units. Our scope included full landscape installation for the builder, featuring a water-efficient irrigation system and drought-tolerant, low-maintenance plantings designed for long-term performance.
What We Did
Commercial Irrigation Installation
We installed a new 5-valve irrigation system, including a backflow preventer, master valve, flow sensor, and weather-based smart controller. The system was paired with inline emitter driplines to maximize water efficiency and support consistent plant health.
Water-Efficient Planting
Our team completed a full planting installation using the Landscape Architect’s plan, implementing water-wise, low-maintenance plant material aligned with the project’s sustainability goals and ongoing maintenance needs.
Tight-Site Execution
With limited access and tight working conditions, the project was completed without heavy equipment. All trenching and related field work was performed by hand using hand tools and electric-powered jackhammers as needed—ensuring quality installation while protecting the site and surrounding improvements.
